Eligibility

B.A History :
A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent there to by the syndicate subject to such conditions as may be prescribed there to are permitted to appear and qualify for the B.A. Degree examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years consist of six semesters.

B.A English :
A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent there to by the syndicate subject to such conditions as may be prescribed there to are permitted to appear and qualify for the B.A. Degree examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years consist of six semesters.

B.B.A :
The eligibility for a student to join BBA course shall be a pass in HSC. Preference should be given for commerce and accountancy streams.

B.A. Tamil :
A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination under higher secondary board of examination, with Tamil as one of the subject Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as equivalent there to by the syndicate subject to such conditions as may be prescribed there to are permitted to appear and qualify for the B.A. Degree examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years consist of six semesters.

B.Com., Professional Accounting :
Candidates seeking admission to the first year B.Com (PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING) shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or computer science or statistics or Business statistics as one of the subjects or an examination of any other university or authority accepted by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed there to.

B.Sc., Food Technology :
Candidates must have passed Class 10+12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Home Science in Class 12.

B.Com :
Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects or other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed there for.

B.Com (Computer Application) :
Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects or other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed there for.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) :
A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Computer Applications degree examination of this university after a programme of study of three academic years.

B.Sc., Biotechnology :
Candidate for admission to the first year of the degree of Bachelor of Science Course shall be required to have passed the Higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational Stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted by the Syndicate, Subject to such conditions may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for B.Sc., degree examination in Biotechnology.

B.Sc. Microbiology :
A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination in any one of the biological sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biology). (Academic/Vocational stream - Agri, Home Science, Poultry) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent thereto by the Syndicate subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto are permitted to appear and qualify for the BSc., Microbiology degree examination of this University after a course of study of three academic years.

B.Sc., Computer Science :
A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per the norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed , are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree examination of this university, after a programme of study of three academic years.

B.Sc., Information Technology:
A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per the norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed , are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree examination of this university, after a programme of study of three academic years.

B.Sc., AI & DS:
A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per the norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed , are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree examination of this university, after a programme of study of three academic years.

B.Sc., Textiles & Fashion Designing:
Candidates Seeking Admission to the First Year Degree Of Bachelor Of Science in Fashion Technology Shall Be Required to have Passed in any Higher Secondary Course Examination (Regular Academic or Vocational ) of the state board/CBSE/ICSE or other Examination Acccepted as equivalent there to by the Syndicate, Subject to such other Conditions as may be prescribed. pass in any three year diploma in Fashion/Costume/Textile/Apparel Related Course is eligible to admit in direct second year of this UG Course.

B.Sc Digital Forensic Science:
Candidate seeking admission to the first year degree of Bachelor of Science in Digital and Cyber Forensic Science shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics / Statistics /Computer Science /Computer Technology/Computer Applications as one of the subjects conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination accepted by the syndicate of Periyar University, subject to such condition as, may be prescribed thereto, are permitted to appear and qualify for B.Sc., Degree of this University after a course of three academic years.

M.Sc. Computer Science:
A candidate who has passed in B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.C.A / B.Sc. Computer Technology / B.Sc. Information Science / B.Sc. Information Technology degree of this University or any of the degree of any other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M.Sc. Computer Science degree examination of this University after a course of study of two academic years.

M.Com:
Pass in B.Com, B.Com (CA), B.Com (e-com), B.B.A, B.B.M, BBA/BBM (CA), B.COM (Corporate Secretaryship), B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship) with CA, BCS, BCS (CA), B.A (Corporate Secretaryship), B.A (Corporate Secretaryship) with CA, and B.Com (Co-operation), B.Com (Banl‹ing & Insurance), B.Com (Accounting & Finance), B.Com (Security Marketing Practices) B.Com (Financial Marl‹eting Analytics) B.Com (Business Process Services) and B.COM. (Professional Accounting).
